Mulberry Alexa Travel Day Bag in Grass Green Lizard Print Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Alexa Travel Day Bag in Grass Green Lizard Print Leather with Shiny Gold Tone Hardware.

From Mulberry’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, the then creative director, Emma Hill, had this to say about her new design. "The Travel Day Bag and its gorgeous characteristics are inspired by the golden age of travel and the nostalgic glamour of vintage steamer trunks. Metal tipped corners and a smart metal logo plaque, it's a classic satchel, but with a super modern (yet nostalgically-inspired), twist. I think the appreciation of well-manufactured, English heritage bags is something people are willing to invest in - the idea of knowing that their Mulberry will last season after season and become a heirloom piece in their wardrobe forever."

The iconic Alexa with trunk styling the Travel Day Bag combines the best of Mulberry design, materials and quality.

Crafted from a vibrant, emerald green and black, matte finish calfskin embossed with textured lizard print, it's strong yet supple and a bag you'll never need to baby.

A removable luggage tag mirror plaque, hardware reinforced corner plaque cladding and a detachable shoulder strap with a proper, (long!) cross-body drop, it delivers fabulousness and practicality in spades.

Please review all of the additional photos below, as they also contain close-up details of condition that may not be visible in the Gallery above. Thank you.

  Condition -  Very Good

Details -

Incredibly well kept, the form is naturally supple, (a firm felt liner is recommended if you prefer the more rigid appearance.)

No immediately visible wear to the leather, there are only the very lightest surface rubs to the textured scales at the base corners.

Stitching all tight and inking (edge sealant) in place throughout.

A few tiny dots of tarnish to the front plaque and some hairline scratches, (not visible to the naked eye,)

There are few light scratches to the two metal clad satchel strap tip ends, the corner plaques and contact scratches to the pushlock base.

The interior is lined in clean, dark chocolate toned suede with a leather trimmed slip pocket and side zipped section. Natural creasing to the suede on the top flap lining, as is a feature of construction.

Please note there is no 'Made in' label on this piece, (as is sometimes found on quirkly Mulberry!)
