Mulberry Jamie Bucket Bag in Oxblood Washed Calf

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Larger Sized Jamie in Oxblood Washed Calf Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

  Inspired by the vintage ‘bucket bags’ from the 1970s archives, the Jamie is a contemporary twist on a much-loved silhouette.

A nicely solid base, (so no saggy bottom), the heritage oval plaque, a secure zipped top and a removable, multi-way shoulder strap that can be worn across the body....it's a design that keeps giving.

Crafted from a grainy, textured calfskin in a rich conkery-burgundy tone....a hide with lots of natural striations, a deep, characterful grain and a form that will continue to soften and slouch with time and use.

Robust, roomy and a easy to use, it's a bag you won't need to baby, (just occasionally polish the smooth leather trims!)

 Details -

Gently softened from use, (this style is designed to have a curvy slouchy top,) the washed calfskin is in an Excellent condition throughout. No marks, scuffs or wear, it's only the smooth leather trim to the base that is more prone to scratches, (see photos below.)

Stitching all tight, inking, (edge sealant) in place and without wear. 

A few surface scratches to the front oval plaque, the main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the crazing to the O rings at the side of the bag, as shown. Crazing is a surface deterioration that appears like a shattered mirror and surface finish loss. Barely visible to the naked eye, this does not affect use in any way.

Surface scuffs and impressions to the base panel, again much less noticable than the close up photos make them appear.

Lined in pristine oatmeal cotton marl with a zip pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.
