Just the right capacity for everyday, it's light to carry and effortless to use.

Carry by hand, on the crook of the arm and can just about be squeezed on the shoulder too, (dependent on your stature and clothing.)

An incredible piece considering she's 23 years old, this undeniably elegant Chanel initially appears to be in an Excellent condition throughout.

Well shaped with the perfect amount of 'give' to make her comfy to carry (all photos taken when empty,) there are natural, gentle creases to the quilt but no immediately visible wear. Only on the closest of inspections can you note a small surface rub to the top apertures RH corner point and the lightest scuffing to the base's rear RH corner curve. Almost unnoticable, this scuff appears to have received some minor restoration.

The rich, shiny 24K gold hardware is excellent, literally gleaming against her hide.... the quality of materials back then is unsurpassed.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, soft, calfskin with a leather slip pocket and grossgrain textile lined zipped pocket.

There are a couple of over-run stitch holes above the LH side of the slip pocket where the craftsman has created needle holes but not used them. All stitching is entirely firm, tight and in place.

 A little, age-related glue yellowing along the insides, horizontal top seam of the slip pocket, (this is the adhesive used by the craftsman in construction which only darkens with time.)
