Hermés Evelyne TPM Mini Amazone 16 in Noir Taurillon Clemence with Gold Hardware

This is a 100% authentic Hermés Evelyne TPM Mini Amazone 16 in Black (Noir) Taurillon Clemence with Shiny Gold Hardware.

The Evelyne was named after Évelyne Bertrand, who was the head of Hermès’s riding department. Designed in 1978 to carry grooming equipment, (the perforated H was designed to enable air to enter the bag to dry the kit,) it was initially sold in stores alongside other equestrian goods. Since 1978, this bag has enchanted daily riders. First intended to tend horses, it is sewn without a lining and brightened up with an “H” perforation, which the initiates wear against the body, in order to allow the equipment to dry. With its girth-like shoulder strap, the Évelyne is the perfect heart-minder.

The TPM is the baby of the Evelyne family, (think phone, keys, small purse & lippy,) and this darling piece is crafted from a beautifully matte, pebbly grained clemence leather. 

Designed to move with you, its minimalist silhouette is lightweight, (and free from lining,) allowing for both your body and mind to feel free. A true testament to its equestrian heritage, preserving the original shoulder strap, oval hoofprint and the H-shaped perforation which adds a unique touch of functionality.

 Details -

Carried only once, the leather is all entirely As New. Stitching and edging all perfect..... there's no wear whatsoever.

Please note the tiny whitish flecks within the trim's stitching holes on the rear of the bag, as present from construction. Barely visible to the naked eye this forms an entirely natural feature of its hand crafted creation.

The two, D rings at the top of the bag display only the very lightest contact scratches and the straps snap hooks similarly displays tiny surface scratches.

Only the gentlest of surface ruffling to the wooly strap, (which occurs from the first moment handled.)

The interior is entirely clean, though please note the natural tonal difference in the suede at the vertitcal side seams, as shown. Again part of the make-up of the piece, not a fault or issue.
