The Prada Re-Edition 1978 collection celebrates the year Miuccia Prada took the helm of the family luxury house and introduced her groundbreaking industrial nylon accessories. Made from recyled materials, ("Re-Nylon is the revolutionary evolution of the iconic nylon and represents the next step in fabric technology and sustainable luxury," Prada.com) 

As of July 2023, Prada committed 1% of proceeds from the Prada Re-Nylon Collection to SeaBeyond in a mission to strengthen the partnership between Prada Group and IOC/UNESCO.

Details -

Carried only a handful of times, Prada nylon is an incredibly resilient material. Supple and soft to the touch with a tendency to attract bits of fluff, so can be hard to photograph without making it appear quite marked or faded!

No visible wear whatsover, the silky webbed straps are excellent and hardware is bright and shiny with only light contact between the magnetic poppers and tiny surface scratches to the buckles that blends almost entirely with the striated, brushed finish of the metal.

Lined in pristine black, Prada jacquard repeat fabric with a saffiano leather trimmed slip pocket that seals with a concealed magentic fastener and a zipped pocket.

Hairline scratches to the internal Prada badge, again not visible to the naked eye.

Made in Italy.
