Mulberry Small Bayswater Buckle Bag in Indigo Blue Shrunken Calf Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Smaller Sized Bayswater Buckle Bag in Indigo Blue Shrunken Calf Leather with Shiny Silver Tone Hardware.  

The Bayswater has been reinvented in many different designs and the 'Buckle Bayswater' has to be one of the most splendid!

Introduced for Cara Delevingne's Winter 2014 collection it marries the Ledbury, (Small Bayswater Satchel without shoulder strap) with the 'Coca' Bayswater's styling, featuring exterior buckle detailing to its winged sides. Wear them out for the trapezoid silhouette or cinch in for the more classic look, there's acres of space inside, (see capacity illustrated.......it almost equals a full sized Bayswater!)

Crafted from a fabulously thick, beautifully bubbly, textured hide. So deeply striated.... shrunken calf is a wonderfully characterful leather and a one that just gets lovelier with use. 

Fully lined in luxe, soft suede with a zipped and two slip pockets, just don't forget this is a quite a substantial piece weighing in over 1kg in her stocking feet. 

Carry by hand or in the crook of the arm, (not suitable for the shoulder, as these pieces were made without straps or D rings.)

Details -

A naturally soft sided silhouette, the form has relaxed however there are very few signs of use. No immediately visible wear, stitching tight, inking, (edge sealant) in place and corners and curves perfect.

A small dot of stray inking to the front, LH side handle base, as present from construction.

Top handles are well shaped with gently softened bases so they will flop downwards if not held or placed upright.

The very slightest fading within the in the grain of the top handles, (barely noticable to the naked eye,) and a 2mm scratch to the rear handles RH side.

There are some tiny flex crackles to the inking at each side of the flap's sides where it meets the back of the bag as is common on all designs with flaps.

Thick, replacement protective hardware protector films have been applied to the three lockplates, however there are a couple of hairline scratches visible only on very close inspection. There is also minor contact dulling to the perimeters of the underside plates. Without the removal of the film it's not possible to confirm whether the scratches and dulling are to the metal or the plastic. 

Light scratches to the apex of the base feet from being placed down.

Self lined in entirely clean, gently ruffled suede.
