 This is a 100% authentic Chanel Small Boy Quilted Flap Bag in Electric Blue Caviar with Antiqued Silver Ruthenium Hardware.

Crafted from a richly saturated, sapphire blue toned caviar calfskin, this fabulous Chanel is at home in the day as the night. Dress it down with jeans and it's ideal for lunch with the ladies or glam up for the evening and it will take you anywhere.

A structured silhouette, it's just the right size for all basics and the removable strap can be worn long or doubled on the shoulder, (will sit on or above hip level if worn cross body.)

Without a doubt, at first review this piece most definitely doesn't appear to be in a Good-Used condition.

Protective film on underside of lockplate, it's perfectly shaped, there's no creasing or immediately glaring wear. Stitching is firmly in place, hardware is As-New and the interior entirely clean.

A incredibly vague, slightly darker, small shadow like mark with a lighter dot scuff to it's centre, on the LH side panel. Extremely difficult to see even when you know it's there.....so much so, the more you try and find it, the less visible it is! Location circled and shown in close up detail.

The two corner curves of the front flap and each side of the front panels base seams display colour rubbing and light scuffing, as shown.

The main reason for the Condition Rating and *notation is due to the tiny, white dots to the caviar textured calfskin throughout, (very commonly found on surface dyed pieces,) as though an extremely robust finish, the surface of the 'nobbles' when scuffed, will show the lighter colour beneath.

All photographed in close up detail in the Gallery below (and much less noticable in use,) they are likely to have been caused by a claw set ring. Most prevelent on the interior lining of the flap and around the apertures' caviar trim, however there are numerous small catches througout the bag and strap, as shown.

From experience, it is feasible to undertake cosmetic remedy for this issue and as a guide, when this piece was first sold via the Nest in March 2018, the Buyer obtained a quotation from The Handbag Restoration Company. At the time the quote was £275.00 however the buyer decided not to undertake. Please note the cost is likely to have increased since then, so please do take this into account prior to purchase.
