The Bayswater has been reinvented in many different designs and the 'Buckle Bayswater' has to be one of the most splendid!

Introduced for Cara Delevingne's Winter 2014 collection it features exterior buckle detailing to its trapezoid shaped sides and is crafted from a fabulously thick, beautifully bubbly, textured hide. So deeply striated.... shrunken calf is a wonderfully characterful leather and a one that just gets lovelier with use.

Acres of space inside, (the capacity is twice that of a standard Bayswater) and so incredibly robust, its an ideal work or even travel bag when a Picadilly is just too large.

Fully lined in luxe, soft suede with a zipped and two slip pockets, just don't forget this is a seriously substantial piece weighing in over 1.5kg in her stocking feet!

Carry by hand, in the crook of the arm or on the shoulder, (may be a tight squeeze if you have a thick coat on.)

Details -

A naturally soft sided silhouette, the form has relaxed slightly, (all photos are taken when the bag is completely empty,) however there are very few signs of use. No wear, marks, scuffs, all colour consistent, (variations in the photos are purely due to the light,) and corners and curves perfect.

Light surface impressions to the top flap where the top handles have rested, as is common on all Bayswater designs.

Top handles are well shaped with gently softened bases so they will flop downwards if not held or placed upright. There are some tiny flex crackles to the inking, (edge sealant) on one of the handle bases, though this is unnoticable in use and doesn't affect the piece in any way.

Thick, protective hardware protector films have been applied to the three lockplates, however there are a couple of hairline scratches visible only on very close inspection. One to the lower area of the Postmans Lock Plate and a couple to the lower area of the underside plate. Without the removal of the film it's not possible to confirm whether the scratches are on the metal or the plastic.

Scratches to the apex of the base feet from being placed down.

All stitching is tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place.

Self lined in entirely clean suede, gently ruffled suede.
