Crafted from a soft, almost brushed, cannage stitched, quilted calfskin hide with matching, matte coated hardware this stunning Lady D may not be perfect, but oh-my, she's still sooooo beautiful!

Details -

At first glance, this glorious piece looks in a Very Good, if not Excellent condition. Perfectly shaped, clean, fresh and without immediately visible wear.

However the first thing you note on inspection, is the marking* to the front, lower LH side of the bag. This is colour transfer from resting on a magazine and is not removable without professional restoration.

When reviewing the rear of the bag you can note a chip to the hardware's coating on the rear, RH sides handle ring and some marking/residue to the leather on the trim behind, (please see zoomed photo below.)

The conical base feet display finish loss to their apex from being placed down. The remainder of the hardware is excellent.

Very light rubs to the top, apertures' corners and the base corner curves, (only visible on very close inspection), there is a small catch to the leather on the top of the rear, top handle and impressions to the each side of the rear handles inner edges where the front handle has rested on it, in storage.

Some light marking and surface impressions to the base, (locations circled and shown in close up detail,) these are all much less noticable in use than the photos make them appear.

A small streak of stray adhesive, (used in the manufacture of the item,) to the middle of the top flap. This has only darkened with age and would not have been visible at the time of purchase. Again, almost invisible unless you know it's there.

Lined in pristine, velvety soft grey suede with zipped pocket and roomy slip pocket. There is a small pink mark to the top edge of the interior flap and a vague smudge to the RH side on the interior 'Christian Dior Paris, MADE IN ITALY' badge.

A much lovelier bag in the flesh than a listing of its wear makes it sound and the extensive photos make it look!
