Louis Vuitton Montsouris PM in Empreinte Noir

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Montsouris PM Backpack in Monogram Empreinte Noir (Black) with Shiny Golden Hardware.

Please note this piece is without the hanging charm.

Named after Montsouris Park on the southern edge of Paris, the original version of the Montsouris was first released in 1994. Reintroduced in 2017, at the height of the backpack trend, it's been a staple design ever since.

Crafted from thick yet still supple, monogram embossed calfskin, this generously sized PM 'Petit Modèle' is fantastically practical and light to carry.

A drawstring top and buckle snap closure satchel flap to the top, it marries classic with contemporary perfectly.

Sling on the shoulder, across the body or on the back, it's a go-anywhere piece.

Details -

Perfectly shaped, (all photos taken when the bag is empty,) with a nice, deep and precise embossing, there is natural, horizontal creases across the front embossed tab, where the buckle rests and minor contact dulling between the two magnetic snaps that seal the flap.

Gentle smoothing to the grain at the base corner folds with one, very small, light scratch to the hide on the front, LH corner, (see location circled.) 

All stitching is tight, all inking, (edge sealant) in place without wear and the top handle is excellent. 

A couple of impressions and a little scuffing to the inking on the side of the RH back strap where it's been caught on something abraisive. Shown clearly in the photos, its almost completely unnoticable to the naked eye.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, gently ruffled microfibre textile with side slip pocket.
