Mulberry Classic East West Bayswater in Indigo Polished Buffalo

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic East West Bayswater in Indigo Polished Buffalo Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

The original EW baguette styled bayswater shoulder bag crafted from a inky, midnight-indigo blue polished buffalo hide.

Dark navy in some lights and almost cobalt in others, the demi-sheened finish is perfect for shrugging off rain and marks with ease.

Grainy, glossy, creasy and characterful, it's a well loved beauty but still incredibly beautiful.....a testiment to the quality and craftsmanship of 'vintage' Mulberry.

Condition - Well Used

Details -

A naturally soft sided design, the form is supple, curvy with lots of surface undulations, striations and creases throughout.

A firm felt liner would be recommended if you prefer the more upright and uniform appearance.

No actual, immediately visible wear. There is a very small, pale dot to the front, lower LH side and a little scratch to the rear, RH side of the bag but the four base corners are unscuffed with just smoothing to the grain and darkening, (as happens with this colouration.)

Shoulder straps are softened (will flop down when not placed upright or held,) but still nicely shaped and feel so comfy on the shoulder.

There is a small linear scratch to the front handle's LH side, again barely visible.

All inking, (edge sealant) is in place with very minor drying, down to the handle bases which show wear and loss, see photos provided.

There are the commonly found surface impressions and flattening to the grain to the top flap were the handle bases rest.

All stitching is tight throughout.

The Postmans Lockplate is very good with a couple of scratches and a little finish loss around the turnlock hole.

The two underside lockplates display friction rubbing from contact.

The interior is lined in clean, chocolate Mulberry tree jacquard cotton with a zipped pocket and the aperture width can be adjusted by way of the ball and staff belts to each side.

The chocolate brown suede lined flap is ruffled with mild horizontal wrinkling to the nap.
