Mulberry Classic East West Bayswater in Chocolate Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry East West Bayswater in Chocolate Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Antiqued Golden Brass Hardware.

The classic Bayswater in an EW baguette design, (so sadly now discontinued,) in the glorious, rich dark brown tone of Chocolate.

Crafted from an original NVT hide, this 'Reloved' piece, purchased from Mulberry Preloved, is perfectly proportioned for the shoulder.

An ideal, everyday bag that you won't need to baby and will continue to grow even lovelier with use.

Details

A reconditioned, 'Reloved' bag, as denoted by the 'R' imprinted to the RH side of the interior Mulberry embossing, this lovely EW Bays was completely re-inked and given new lockplates before her resale.

Protective film in place on the two undersides, there are no scratches to the the front Postmans Lock Plate and all inking, (edge sealant) is still perfect throughout.

Nicely softened with a beautifully curvy, floppy, top flap, please note the horizontal undulation-dip to the form of the top flap are an entirely normal feature of the design that develops over time.

There are the commonly found surface indentations to the top flap from the handle bases and a slight sideways lean to the shoulder straps from storage, (will even quickly.)

The hide is fabulous. Thick, robust with oodles of character, striations, creases and a couple of extremely light scuffs, (back of rear shoulder strap, fingernail scratch to the front lower....not visible unless you angle to view.)

Light surface rubs to to three of the base corner curves piping, the main reason for the condition rating is due to the scuffing to the the front, LH sides corner curve. Shown in the quad photo above and also in the additional, larger Gallery below, it's much less noticeable than the close up photos make it appear.

Self lined in clean suede interior with Mulberry Tree Jacquard fabric zipped pocket. The suede displays light ruffling and some minor flattening to the pile on the top flap. Please note the darker, lines in the suede on the RH side of the base are natural veins in the hide, not marks.
