Just as received from JohnLewis.com on 28.02.26, the protective film* is not in place on hardware, (however, it's pristine throughout.) 

There is the lightest, vertical fingernail scuff to the surface of the hide on the front, RH side of the Postmans Lock Plate, as shown. So vague as to be almost invisible, I would assume this piece to have been a Return that John Lewis then shipped on to another Buyer.

Immaculate in every other way.

Lined in midnight blue, heritage herringbone twill with zipped pocket. Top flap is lined in microfibre.
