This is a 100% authentic Chanel Vintage Tassle Bucket Bag in Black Quilted Suede with Shiny Gold Hardware.

An absolute darling of a drawstring bucket bag from 1990, crafted from a fine nap, diamond-stitched, thick black suede that feels like velvet.

Adorned by quilt profile, gold collared tassles and classic shoulder chain, this ultra tactile vintage delight is a piece you won't stop stroking.

Compact but not tiny, the capacity is ideal for everyday and a bag that goes from casual day wear to evening glam, with ease.

Details -

The suede is amazing, especially considering its age and is a testiment to the enduring quality of vintage Chanel materials and craftmanship.

So hard to photograph without making it look like it's worn and covered in bits!, it's a deep consistent black in tone with no shiny areas or visible flattening to the pile.

No marks or detriment, any paler areas are purley movement of the nap as the surface finish appears to change dependent on the way its brushed and how the light catches it.

A soft sided design, the suede is dense and strong and though it doesn't hold its shape completely, it doesn't collapse into a puddle either. There is natural horizontal crease along the lower area on the front of the bag, as is often found on this style,

Stitching all in place and the robust, rolled, calfskin, piping trim around the base is pristine.

Tassles are gorgeously softened and ruffled but all present, not stretched, kinked or split and the drawstrings are all excellent.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the tarnish spots to the surface of the two gold collars. A purposefully antiqued finish, they are well camouflagued but can easily be removed by a specialist polish, should the buyer wish. The chain and leather interwoven shoulder strap is excellent.

The interior is fully lined in entirely clean, glossy, soft, creasy calfskin with a silky sateen lined zip pocket.
