Even more lovely for all the use it's received, I always find it so interesting how different bags age in completely different ways.

A true testiment to Mulberry's vintage leather quality and craftsmanship, it's a piece that will continue to grow even more beautiful as it ages. 

  Condition - Good Used to Very Good

Details -

A softened silhouette with a nicely floppy top flap, the RH side is slightly softer than the other (though this just forms part of it's charm!). All photos are taken of the bag when empty as though the felt liner provides organisation, it doesn't provide any additional structure to the very dense hide.

Top handles will fall downwards if not held or place upright, however are nicely firm, well shaped and without wear.

I'm hoping the photos do justice to the leather...... it's utterly scrumptious. Creasy, characterful, gently glossy and without any actual wear whatsoever. The rounded, curvy base corners are excellent and all the fingernail scratches that this piece has acquired over the years have blended completely, (this is the most forgiving finish once you break it in.) 

Stitching all tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place with only the lightest flex crackles to the handle bases, which is incredible considering the age and use this bag has received. 

The Postmans Lock Plate is stunning. Crafted from a uniformly toned, soft gold hardware without any visible scratches and underside plates are similarly As New(this finish was wonderful to avoid friction wear.) Base feet display scratching and finish loss to their apex from being placed down.

The interior is self lined in clean, rufffled suede with zipped pocket and two slip pockets.

Please note there is a strong leather aroma to this piece. Not stored, musty, perfumed or artificial.....just a rich, heady, leather aroma.
