This is a 100% authentic LOEWE Medium Sized Classic Puzzle Bag in Lemon Yellow Calfskin with Shiny Gold Hardware.

 Jonathan Anderson's Puzzle bag has become a Loewe icon with its innovative cuboid shape and multi-function style; it even folds down flat, making it the perfect choice when travelling. Hand-painted edges, herringbone weave cotton-canvas lining, two internal slip compartments, handy exterior zip back pocket and, of course, the embossed Anagram, give the bag an extra touch of irresistible style.

Staying true to the Spanish brand's artisanal approach, this original, first version puzzle design, (so sadly no longer available direct,) required 524 by-hand crafted actions in the factory just outside of Madrid, taking approximately 530 minutes (almost nine hours) to be completed. Composed of 41 different leather pieces, 9 textile pieces and 45 pieces of cloth, along with the addition of metalwares and zips, it's intricate, architectural and ridiculously practical.

Crafted from a thick, robust hide, yet retaining a supple construction, it will hold its shape when empty, but isn't structured or hard sided. (All photos are taken when the bag is empty....) just enough 'give' to make it perfect to carry, in any way you want! By hand, as a clutch, cross body on the shoulder or sling across, the options are endless.

Entirely colour consistent, evenly grained with the amazing ability to change intensity in different lights...it's a bright, citrussy lime in some and s more subdued lemon yellow in others..... just stunning and what a way to add some colour to your day!

On first review the only immediately visible wear is a pale, linear rub to the RH side of the front flaps' edge. On closer inspection you can note that the inking, (edge sealant) along the flap edge is slightly uneven, however, as it is hand applied, this is an entirely normal feature of construction.

A tiny spot of stray inking to the lower front and two miniscule flecks to the front, lower RH, there's no wear to the base corners just a couple of surface impressions to the base where it's rested on the shoulder strap in storage. 

A little darkening to the underside of the top handle and a couple of small marks to its upper, the main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the wear to the inking at the side loops. There is also flex cracking to the inking on the underside of the top handle and along the RH side edge of the top flap. All shown in close up detail, it's much less noticable to the naked eye and does not affect the use of the piece in any way.

Minor contact darkening to the leather on the underside of the top handle, where it loops around the D rings, hardware is bright and shiny excepting the four, diagonal-bar feet to the base which display scratching from being placed down.

The shoulder strap is excellent throughout.

The interior is lined in clean,  herringbone woven, linen-marl with two slip pockets.  There is some very slight discoloration to the leather on the flap's interior where it contacts with the zip teeth and header, as is often found on this design.
