This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Shawl, Large Scarf or Wrap in Cassis Purple 60% Silk  40% Wool Mix.

Generous, soft and warm with a beautiful drape, this classic shawl is a stunning amethyst purple shade.

Jacquard printed tone on tone in Monogram with fine fringing to edges and signed Louis Vuitton Paris, its style is utterly timeless.

Without close review this beautiful scarf appears in an Excellent condition.

A rich, jewel like shade that changes intensity in the light, the surface of the weave is gently ruffled, (not bobbled,) and, as happens with use, the fine fringing begins to 'fluff' a little.

As is inevitable when worn, thare are a number tiny loop pulls to the fabric and a twin parallel, linear ladder in the weave. Shown on the Gallery above, they are completely unoticeable, (and do anticipate acquiring more!)

The reason for the * notation is due to the vague fading across an areas in the middle of the scarf, which appears as as a more reddish coloured strip. Location circled and shown from different angles to try and capture the colour difference, to the naked eye it's barely detectable.

There is also a small, round, dark mark to the fabric on the side border which many be sponge cleanable, however please note the care label states this piece is 'Dry Clean Only'. 

One corner of the label has the holding stitch absent.

The very slightest aroma of Chanel Chance Tendre parfum can just about be noted from the previous owner.
