Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Black Croc Printed Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Black Croc Printed Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Soft Gold, (Brushed Brass,) Hardware.

No longer produced in this superior, vintage hide, the last RRP was £1,250, (current shiny cowhide version RRP £1,295)

Handsomely substantial, crafted from Mulberry's firmest and finest, embossed, Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather (NVT), this stunning Bayswater was born in 2016 and has been carried only a handful of times.

Structured, glossy and fabulously characterful with a beautifully spaced print, it has an incredibly beautiful finish with an almost striated, crackly appearance to the grain.

A sartorially smart tote that is as at home in the office as out shopping for the day and a piece that will just grow lovelier and lovelier with use, age and care.

Carry by hand, crook of the arm on on the shoulder, (though please note may be a tight squeeze as drop is 15.5cm. See photo on mannequin below.)

Details - 

Well shaped and upright, (all photos taken of the bag when empty,) the top handles will fall downwards slightly if not held or placed upright and, as is part of the design, there are light surface impressions to the top flap where the rear of the handle bases rest.

No wear to the hide whatsoever. All corners and curves are perfect and though there are a couple of the lightest fingernail scuffs to the front, upper LH side, (see location circled,) the reflective and creasy nature of the finish camouflages them completely.

All stitching tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place, however there is small smudge of stray inking to the front, RH side of the flap inlet, as present from manufacture, (location circled and shown with the zoom.) Not designated as 'Substandard' or a Second, however this may have been the reason this piece was sold via the Mulberry Outlet Store, (Somerset, 11.07.16.)

Surface scratches to the apex of the base feet, the reason for the *notation is due to small and almost inconspicuous area of finish loss to the lower RH side of the Postmans Lock Plate. Location circled and shown with the zoom, it's extremely hard to see with the naked eye.

Self lined in clean, soft, black microfibre with a zipped pocket and two slip sections.

Made in Turkey.
