Mulberry Mitzy Messenger in Oak Pebbled Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Mitzy Messenger in Oak Pebbled Leather with Soft Goldtone (Brass) Hardware.

So sadly now discontinued, (here's some on Mulberry Preloved,) the medium sized Mitzy messenger is simple, casual, easy-to-use adnd the ideal everyday, hands free bag.

Strong, supple and slouchy, with a generous capacity, it moulds to your side in use and the gently glazed hide repels marks and rain with ease. 

Crafted from a rich, deep, toffee-oak toned hide with dark chocolate harness leather trims and removable shoulder strap, it's perfect for wearing across the body and also great for travel as packs completely flat.

Without detailed review, this lovely piece appears in a Very Good to Excellent condition.

A naturally structureless design, the hide is a beautiful dark caramel shade with a pebbly grain and a light gloss that adeptly camouflages any scuffs and scratches.

There is surface scuffing to the top, front apertures' seam, to the rolled, piping trim on the fronts' base and slight darkening to the piping on the two rear, corner curves. All shown in close up detail on the photos provided, to the naked eye they are barely there.

Stitching is all tight throughout.

The dark brown, smooth leather trims and strap are excellent with only minor creasing a few, very light, fingernail scratches. (Please note the underside of the strap is an raw, 'harness' leather which displays natural striations, as is part of its normal finish.) On close inspection, you can note the crackling to the inking (edge sealant) on the sides of the shoulder strap and sit impressions to the ends where the buckles have been set.

The front oval embossed plaque displays numerous surface scratches, and there is some inconspicuous aging to the finish of the D rings, (invisible to the naked eye.) There is a little dark tarnish to the 'M' on the front, RH sides rivet, again completely unnoticeable.

Fully lined in hardwearing cream, grossgrain cotton with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket. There are a number of small brown marks and one, blue pen mark, as shown.

The top of the bag seals with a self locating popper.
