This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Small Effie Satchel in Black Spongy Pebbled Leather with Brushed Gold (Brass) Hardware.

 The small Effie satchel is a beautiful, compact saddle-flap bag with braid feature top handle and long, shoulder strap. Embossed with the large tree motif it's soft, casual design is perfect for all your everyday basics and it's also ideal for travel, as will pack completely flat.

Carry by hand, on the shoulder or across the body, (may sit on or above hip level, see photos below,) its relaxed, slouchy shape hangs effortlessly, whichever way you wear.

  Condition - Very Good

 

Details - 

The leather is in a fabulous condition. Smooshily soft, there's no wear, no scratches or scuffs. A large pebbly grain, it somehow manages to deliver the matte-feel of heavy grain leather without the weight!

All stitching is tight, all inking, (edge sealant) is in place without wear or crackling and the only reason this lovely little Effie hasn't achieved an Excellent condition rating is due to the minor tarnish to the embossed rivet on the RH side and light scratching to the base popper and end clips of the straps. The D Rings are excellent.

The plait top handle displays a few light surface impressions to the top braiding, as shown, (completely unnoticeable without the closest of inspections.)

The shoulder strap is excellent. (Please note the underside of the strap is a raw, 'harness' leather which displays natural striations, as is part of its normal finish.)

The interior is lined in clean, black cotton with zipped pocket and the top flap is lined in black suede, with gentle ruffling and flattening to the nap where it rests over the top tab, when closed.
