 This is a 100% authentic Chanel Vintage Small Tote in Black Quilted Calfskin with Shiny Silver Hardware.

Slightly roomier than the classic Petite Shopping Tote this small to medium sized, magnificent, work-horse of a Chanel may be 27 years old but she's still got so much more service yet to give!

Light to carry (best as as a top handle as a very a tight squeeze on the shoulder) and easy to use, its a bag you'll never have to baby and one you'll wonder how you ever did without!

Details -

Gently softened, the form is naturally curvy with lots of characterful creases. Crafted from a thick, robust hide with a lightly glazed, resilient finish, it's a testament to the incredible hardiness of superior quality, pre-Millennium calfskin.

A number of fingernail scuffs to the hide can be noted on close inspection, a rub to the rear, upper RH top edge and the base corners have received remedial colouration which has restored the light surface rubbing, (making it invisible to the naked eye.)

The reason for the *notation is due to the plating loss to the surface of lower area of the front CC plaque. Photographed to illustrate the flaking very clearly, to the naked eye it's actually extremely difficult to even see. However this issue has been reflected in the both the Condition Rating and price.

Stitching is all tight throughout with minor surface ruffling to the quiting's thread, caused by friction.

The top handles are well shaped with slightly softened bases, (the front handle will droop when not held or placed upright). The inking, (edge sealant) to the lower, softened parts of the handles display wear, though this is completely unnoticable in use.

The interior is lined in clean, strong, black, grossgrain textile with two zipped pocket. Displaying light general use and a few light marks to the fabric, there are two small, pink spots, as circled.
