This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Small Coca Bayswater Satchel with Zips and Chain in Black Smooth Calf with Antiqued (Brushed,) Silver Hardware.

Produced in limited numbers for the Autumn/Winter 2016 Catwalk Collection, this contemporary trapezoid shaped, smaller sized Bays satchel, sure packs a serious punch!

Here's a standard edition one on Mulberry preloved, for reference.

Made in England, the hide is thick, strong yet pliable with a light glaze that repels rain and marks with ease.

Adorned with low profile studding and the chain feature, functioning zipped pocket to the front, this Coca SBS has a fabulous, edgy, deconstructed feel.

Carry by hand, in the crook of the arm or on the shoulder, (will sit on or above hip level if worn crossbody,) it will add a bit of punk to any outfit.

 

 Condition - Excellent

 

Details -

Well shaped and without immediately visible wear, there are the commonly found light surface impressions to the top flap where the handles base rest, as is part of the design.

Corners and curves are excellent, all stitching is tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place.

Only when inspecting very closely can you note two tiny scratches to the top handles and a very light, diagonal, fingernail scratch to the rear, lower middle. All shown in close up detail in the photo below, they are completely unnoticable in use.

 The hardware is excellent throughout with a natural, aged, mottly matte finish, (similar to Ruthenium). 

The interior is self lined in clean, gently ruffled black suede with a little, minor flattening to the nap at the base. There is a zipped pocket and slip pocket, quirkily located at the front wall of the bag, vs the back.....good old Mulberry always like to switch things up!
