This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Del Rey in Bark Brown Metallic Calf Fur Print Mix Leather with Brushed Gold Tone Hardware.

A perfect balance of texture and tone. Classic yet contemporary and monsterously delightful, this very generously sized, top handle, zip top boston bag is from Mulberrys hugely popular autumn/winter 2012 campaign inspired by ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak.

Changing from black to bronze in the light with an almost aubergine glow, the hide is a bespoke finish of soft and luxurious, super fine nap suede with a metallic fur print foil applied.

Called 'Bark Brown', its almost black with a goldy-bronze tone that subtly glitters over the soft matte leather giving an incredibly beautiful, aubergine glow in some lights.

Finished by brushed, pale champagne gold hardware and beautifully matte, velvety black top handles, these pieces are scarily fabulous, highly sought after, but, as always.....priced sensibly at the Nest!

Details - 

Super supple and unstructured (see photo when empty) with natural undulations in the form, this is a very slouchy bag so you'll need to add in a firm Felt Liner if you prefer the more upright look.

A very small, vague mark to the base, as shown, (the nap of the suede lies in different directions which produces completely natural tonal variations, forming part of the inherent nature of the finish.) No wear to the hide whatsoever, corners are excellent without any rubbing to the surface foil (see the close up photo above showing the amazing, intricate 'fur' pattern).

The top handles are firm (hand carry or crook of arm only,) with two areas of ruffling to the inking, (sealant) at the rear, upper, inner curve edge. All inking is in place and stitching tight throughout. 

The decorative, spring loaded Tassle (which can be attached to the turnlock end or the side staff to 'lock' the zip,) is excellent. A little tarnish to the upper curve of the metal O ring that the leather zip pull attaches to and there are minor scratches to the apex of the base feet, from being placed down.

Original protective film in place on the Postmans Lock Plate with light scratches to the end of the turnlock, the two underside plates display only the slightest contact scratches from resting together.

A shoulder strap with snap hook ends has been attached to the top handles D rings which display a resultant surface scratching, as shown. Barely visible to the naked eye.

The full width, front pocket is lined in clean black Mulberry Tree fabric with a thick, luxe suede lined top flap.

The interior is lined in clean black Mulberry Tree jacquard cotton with a large, full depth zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.
