This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Antony Large Messenger in Black Natural Grain with Brushed Silver Tone Hardware.

So sadly now discontinued in this largest size, (here's one on Mulberry Preloved.)

Crafted from a thick, robust Natural hide with an evenly pebbled grain and a fabulous glaze, it's a bag you'll never need to baby and a leather that just gets better and better with use and care. 

Condition - Well Used

Details - 

Though its rare for the Nest to sell such a Well Loved bag, this Antony is all completely structurally sound, stitching all intact and even more lovely for all the use he's received.

The leather has acquired that beautiful glossiness that's developed though time and care and though he's become more softened than when New, he's still an incredibly robust and resilient bag.

Shown standing when empty, his form sags towards the base making four areas of creasing to the sides which causes flex cracks to the inking, (edge sealant) at these points. Shown in close up detail in the photo gallery above, these cracks don't affect structural integrity or use in any way. Similar cracking to the inking around the bases corners, at the top of the bag at the flaps sides, the interior gusset sides and around the D rings loops, as shown. This is very commonly found in pieces with such thick leather and though this doesn't affect use in any way it has been reflected in the Condition Rating and price.

The top flap is lined in soft black suede which displays wear around the turnlock hole and general pile flattening where it rests on the aperture seams, when closed.

The interior is self lined, lightly ruffled and entirely clean with a small, twin, light dot mark to the base, (location circled and shown with the zoom.)

The Postmans Lock Plate is very good with a tiny dot of finish loss to the lower curve of the turnlock aperture, (unnoticable in use.)

The webbed cross body strap is colour consistent and firm but displays a little area of texile bobbling from use, general surface ruffling and a light sit impression where the movable buckle has been set.

A much nicer Antony that a list of his faults makes him sound!
