Mulberry Willow Large Tote in Black Exotic Mix with Shiny Gold Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Willow Larger Sized Tote in Black Silky Classic Calf, Calf Hair & Ostrich Leather with Shiny Gold Tone Hardware.

A special edition Willow, (RRP was £3,600) with a metal cloche, metal feet and a metal interior Mulberry embossed badge and disc, this very generously sized trapezoid tote is a show-stopper. 

Made in England from a trio of ultra luxurious hides, the main body of the bag is crafted from a super thick, buttery smooth Classic Silky Calf which provides just enough structure to keep the bag upright whilst allowing the form it's lovely pliable and supple feel. Ostrich leather handles and a sleek, shiny calfhair front envelope pocket which can be unzipped from the tote so you can carry as an elegant clutch.... it's literally two bags in one.

The quality and craftsmanship of this piece is breathtaking, but with such superior materials comes some significant associated weight! 1.74kg in total, so don't forget when you're carrying stuff inside, (and it's a BIG inside,) this is a seriously substantial piece.

Details -

A much nicer bag in the flesh than the Condition Rating belies...... the calfhair is smooth and unrubbed, the ostrich top handles are well shaped and without detriment and the smooth, calfskin hide displays just a very light rub to the front, LH sides corner curve and a few, fingernail scratches, (mainly to the front, between the handles, see close up photo above.) Minor surface impressions and gentle creasing to the rear, lower LH side and a scuff to the front, LH base corner. All are all much less visible than the photos make them appear.

The interior of both the tote and the pouch are self-lined in beautifully thick black suede. Clean but displaying general use, small areas of pile flattening and ruffling throughout. The totes' interior zipped pocket's base displays a little adhesive along the base, (from construction,) which appears as a pale line.

The reason for the *notation is due to the scratches to the front of the Postmans Lock Plate. Sadly it appears to have been scuffed downwards against something which has resulted in a number of vertical scratches. Both underside plates display contact friction scratching around their perimeters and base feet display scratches from being placed down.
