Balenciaga Le Dix Cartable S in Multicolor Python & Calfskin - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Balenciaga Le Dix Cartable S Satchel in Black Python, Smooth Glacier Grey Calfskin and Zesty Lemon Calfskin. Complemented by dual tone shiny silver and textured gold hardware, it's a stunning, and now rare to find, exotic piece.

A firm silhouette, with zip around, gusset sides and embossed flip lock closure, the sprung loaded top handle sits nicely flat when not in use and the detachable, adjustable strap allows elegant, shoulder carry. (Not suited to crossbody wear.)

 Divided into three internal sections with a zipped pocket and two sip sections, all lined in soft, black calfskin, it's an ideal capacity for everyday.

Just stored since purchase, this beautiful Bal may be 10 years old but it so deserves to be carried!

A structured silhouette, the form is As-New, there's no visible wear to the hides, the python scales are superb throughout and without very close inspection it appears in a nearly perfect condition.

A very finely grained calfskin finish, there is an extremely vague, linear, diagonal shadow to the front of the lemony-lime toned hanging cloche, (so slight to be barely there) and a very, light, vertical fingernail scratch to the front middle upper side of the flap, just below the handle, (see location circled.)

Stitching is all tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place with the commonly found flex cracks to the back of the flap from the motion of opening and closing.

The reason for the *notation is due to five tiny, dark dots to the hide, as present from construction. One to the front, middle upper, (just above the fingernail scratch,) two to the front, RH side of the bag, (above the pushlock aperture,) and two to the rear, lower LH side. Locations circled and shown in close up detail in the photos above, they are completely unnoticable in use. 

The polished metal 'mirror' within the hanging cloche displays a spot of tarnish below the embossing and there is some age-related oxidisation to the rear's perimeter.

Original, protective film in place on the base's, two silver feet 'rails', the flip locks base staff, (that pushes though the aperture to close), displays natural contact scratches and there is a vertical, linear, hairline scratch to the silver, pushlock's front LH side.

Top handle and shoulder strap are excellent, with minor dulling to the top handles attachment hardware and a light sit impression to the leather of the shoulder strap, on the middle hole where the buckle has been set.

Lined in clean, smooth, soft black calfskin displaying only a few fingernail scuffs to the rear flaps lower area.
