Hermés Kelly Sellier 28 in Black Box Leather with Gold Hardware

This is a 100% authentic Hermés Kelly Sellier 28 in Black Box Leather with Gold Plated Hardware.

Please note there is no padlock, nor shoulder strap with this piece.

Born in 1996, this sleek, elegant Kelly is the 'Sellier' model with sharp, clean lines, external stitching and a nicely rigid construction. 

Crafted from ultra finely grained 'box' calfskin, the hide is firm, glossy and though some may say formal, it will add a polished look to any outfit.

 Details -

Cared for extremely well, the form and overall condition of this Hermés is utterly stunning. The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the nature of Box Leather.

An incredibly finely grained hide, the corners display light surface scuffing, there is some gentle scuffing along the base's seam, at the lower front and small chip to the RH side, (as shown.) As in inevitable with use, there are numerous light fingernail scratches throughout and a number of small, dot surface catches. All shown in detail in the Gallery above, they are much less visible to the naked eye and form an inherent feature of the leather type with use. Please note, no remedial activitity or restoration has been performed, (as the appearance of such can be improved greatly by the Hermés Spa, should the buyer wish.)

The front lock plates, base plate and staff display light hairline scratches, (no tarnish, oxidisation or loss of finish.) The feet display minor dulling and surface scratches from being placed down.

Top handle is firm and well shaped and inking, (edge sealant) is all in place.

Stitching all tight, gussets excellent and the interior is lined in entirely clean, robust, grainy goatskin chevre with zipped rear pocket and two slip pockts.
