Louis Vuitton Victorine Compact Wallet in Monogram - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Victorine Wallet Compact Purse in Monogram with Golden Brass Hardware.

 As feminine as it is functional, the Victorine was LVs very first compact wallet. Ingeniously designed, it's interior holds almost as much as a long wallet and is ideal for smaller bags or just a pocket.

Comprising of six credit card slots, two flat pockets, a zipped coin pocket and long bill pocket along the back.

Details -

No wear to the canvas or motifs, the form is firm with the commonly found ruffling to the inking, (edge sealant) at the seams of the envelope flap and around the corner curves. Shown in close up detail above, this is barely noticable to the naked eye.

Lots of scratching to the front, embossed popper with silvery paling to the golden brass finish, again less visible than the photos make this appear.

The interior is excellent. Clean, without wear, just some gentle vertical creases to the smooth calfskin lining at the central fold of the long, rear note pocket.

The reason for the * notation is due to the aroma that is so often found on LV canvas pieces. Unique to LV, it's not a stored, musty or fragranced smell but more a very specific, almost chemical aroma that some canvas pieces seem to develop, (and some are manufactured with). Some people find it quite off putting and others can't even detect it, but if you know, you know!
