This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murikami Insolite Multicolor Blanc Long Wallet.

 Incredibly practical as well as pretty, this large, long, folded, zipped 'folio' wallet is a design so sadly missed.

A very generous piece that popper closes and zips around with two smooth running zippers, it also opens up completely flat so you can access everything easily.

Spaces for everything and lined in stunning, hot fuchsia pink crossgrain, there's a roomy zipped, concertina sided compartment to the top, a zipped pocket, two slip sections, a long front slip pocket and 12 credit card slots.

Ideal for travel or just a beautiful clutch ....the handy D ring also allows you to clip into a larger bag or add in a wristlet loop, (not included.)

The Multicolor collection was first introduced in spring 2003 by Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami who decided to revamp the traditional monogram toile and give it a splash of colour. In collaboration with Marc Jacobs, the Multicolore line became a huge success and, just as popular today as its ever been since it's recent reintroduction to the main line collection.

Details -

Used regularly, this 13 year old delight is Well Loved, witout a doubt, but certainly has many more years of service to give.

The canvas is clean and without discolouration however not as bright white as it would have been when new. Surface rubs to a number of the multicoloured motifs, (all shown in the collage above,) as in inevitable with use.

Stitching all tight and the form is still good with the slightest splaying-up to the corner areas,  as is a feature of this design.

The glossy red edging is not sticky or degraded however displays very slight rubbing along a small length at the top front aperture, but significant wear around the spine area and loss to each side of the D ring, as shown. Though this looks horrendous in the close up photos above, it's a thousand times less visible to the naked eye.

As is so commonly found on these pieces, there are flex splits to the canvas at the sides of the D ring and at the front and back of the spine. All shown in close up detail above, these do not affect the structural integrity of the piece in any way and will not worsen if the piece is not overloaded, however have been reflected in the price.

The crossgrain and smooth leather interior is fabulous. Still as intensely pink as they day it was made, its entirely clean, with only the slightest couple od grains of darkening at the RH side of the spine where the end-stop of the zip teeth has rested. Card slots are nicely flush, all zips run smoothly without wear to the zip pulls and both prestuds hold firmly to close.
