Whilst its rare for the Nest to stock a 'Well Used' piece, there are some that are just too fabulous to pass by.

Adored and looked after extremely well, it's a perfect example of a more recent hide that's developed beautifully with use. A 'grain' vegetable tanned finish, the grain is larger and deeper than 'Small Classic Grain' and though still thick and firm when new, it relaxes into a very attractive finish, more reminiscent of a richly glazed, heavy-grain. 

As is so often found with the GVT finish there are light surface scratches to the hide and scuffs*, which reveal the lighter colour of the hide beneath. All shown in detail in the photo gallery above with locations highlighted, these can easily be remedied by the application of the correct colour Collonil cream.

A slight colour differential between the front and back of the bag which can only be detected when you view the panels side by side, (at the base.) Made from different dye batches, the intensity difference is obvious in the photo above however is completely unnoticable in use.

The form is softened, with slightly creasy corners (as the old style Antony used to have!) and though the felt liner provides added organisation internally, it doesn't give the hard structure that would detract from the nicely curvy silhouette.

Hardware is bright, (hairline scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate only visible on very close inspection, , there is rubbing / fluffing to the surface of the webbed shoulder strap textile.

Stitching is all strong and the interior entirely clean with ruffling to the thick, self-lined suede pile of the main body. The top flap is lined with a finer nap, darker oxblood toned suede displaying flattening around the postmans lock hole and a small mark to the upper RH side, (see location circled.)

 Inking (edge sealent) displays flex cracking to the back of the flap sides,  the strap loops and around the top aperture, as shown. Much less noticable to the naked eye, this doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way.
