Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Heritage Bayswater in Black Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

This vintage, classically styled Bayswater, born in 2008, is crafted from original Natural Vegetable Tanned (NVT) leather. Accompanied by padlock and keys in clochette, the hide is gorgeously grainy and has just grown better and better with age and use.

Thick, supple, curvy with oodles of character, this Mulberry icon makes you remember why Mulberry became great.

Details - 

A curvy silhoutte, it's gloriously creasy with a deeply pebbled grain and that amazing rich, leather aroma that only an old skool hide will give.

Standing up with a slouch when empty, it offers a casually relaxed feel and the promise that, with continued use and care, it will become a fabulously smooshy piece. 

The front flap is softened with the naturally occuring gentle, horizontal dip along the rear of the flap and there are the usual surface impressions from the handle base inserts. 

Colour consistent with a beautiful, light sheen, (which is ideal in the rain), there's absolutely no wear to the leather whatsoever. Lots of entirely natural surface scuffs and striations which all add to the character of these pieces. Corners, curves and piping display a very slight lightening in tone and a smoothing in the grain, but no wear.

Shoulder straps are softened, which makes it wonderfully comfy to carry and though will stand upwards when balanced they have a tendency to flop downwards when not in use.

All inking, (edge sealant) and stitching is securely in place.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays a few hairline scratches and there is light contact friction scratching to the perimeter of the underside plates. 

Base feet display surface scratches to their apex from being placed down.

The interior is self lined in clean, ruffled suede with two slip pocket and a zipped section. The slight 'mottled' discolouration to the lining of the top flap is an entirely natural part of the how this hide ages .
