This beautiful, classically styled Bayswater is crafted from original Natural Vegetable Tanned (NVT) leather. Glossy, grainy and utterly gorgeous, its one of those pieces that makes you remember why Mulberry became great.

Thick, supple, curvy with oodles of character and a hide that just gets better and better with age and use....it's undoubtedly the Mulberry icon.

Details -

A beautifully rounded silhouette, it will stand up when empty but has a naturally relaxed feel and with use will eventually become a fabulously smooshy and slouchy bag. 

You can pop the Felt Liner inside for added organisation and a more upright look.

The flap has a naturally soft feel and a gentle, horizontal dip undulation can be noted along the top, as is part of the design.

As is commonly seen, there are light surface impressions to the rear of the flap from the two, handle base inserts. 

Colour consistent with a lovely sheen, (which is ideal in the rain), at first review there appears very little wear. Corner curves are slightly smoothed and matte, stitching is all tight and inking, (edge sealant) is in place with very minor crackling to the handle bases and flap inlets.

It's only when you angle the rear of the bag sharply away from you to view, that you can note the fingernail scratches to the surface of the hide. Almost invisible when viewing straight on, this is a very forgiving leather as the scuffs will blend with ease, eventually completely disappearing, with corrective care.

The Postmans Lock Plate displays a little friction related finish rubbing around the turnlock hole, and there is a small contact mark to the RH side of the base plate and the base feet display very light surface scratches to their apex.

The top handles are well shaped and firm, (will flop if not placed upright or held) and display a couple of light, surface impressions to the inking on the LH inner side of the front handle.

The interior is self lined in entirely clean, soft suede with two slip pocket and a zipped section.
