This is a 100% authentic Givenchy Small Antigona in Cognac Brown Shiny Croc Embossed Calfskin with Shiny Gold Hardware.

No longer available from Givenchy direct in this finish, the RRP of the plain leather version is currently £1,850

 This piece was purchased from Fashionphile on 21.04.22, (see link here,) and just stored carefully by its new owner.

The name of Givenchy's 'Antigona' tote is derived from the Greek Goddess Antigone, which means unbending or strong. A fabulously hard-sided and ultra robust piece, crafted from a glossy, crocodile scale embossed calfskin, this elegantly structured top handle or shoulder bag is a perfect combination of edgy cool and contemporary classic.

Called the 'Small' though not really small at all.....(Givenchy can be very generous in their sizing), its an ideal size for everyday and a perfect, rich chestnut shade for Autumn.

Details  -

No evidence of use whatsoever, (the second owner never used her and I'd be suprised if the first one did either!)

Two, very small stray smudges of inking, (edge sealant,) to the zip pull, as present from manufacture. Completely unnoticable without the closest of inspections.

Lined in thick, black linen cotton twill with a deep zipped pocket, slip pocket and elasticated slip section.
