Iconic in its simplicity and crafted from a soft, supple, pebbly grain this medium sized Evelyne is a casual, go-anywhere day bag.

Curvy yet sleek with a comfy to carry, wide, webbed adjustable strap, it's a design that moulds perfectly to your side in use and a style that will never date.

A stunning shade, between violet and pink, (the intesity changes in the light), this colour, named after the opera 'Tosca' made famous by Italian composer Puccini, was released for the 2011 Autumn Winter collection. 

Light compared to capacity, with a rear slip pocket and tab sealing main compartment, wear on the shoulder or across the body for hands-free ease. 

The Evelyne bag was named after Évelyne Bertrand, who was the head of Hermès’s riding department. Designed in 1978 to carry grooming equipment, (the perforated H was designed to enable air to enter the bag to dry the equipment,) it was originally sold in stores alongside other equestrian goods.

Hard to believe she was born in 2011, this incredibly beautiful Evelyne is is an amazing condition.

Well shaped, colour consistent and without any immediately visible use, she's very gently softened but still completey upright, corners and curves without wear, stitching all tight, hardware all shiny and the webbed strap displays no surface ruffling whatsoever.

It's only on very close inspection can you note two very small areas of colour rubbing to the surface of the hide. One to the LH sides' D ring loop at the top aperture and one to the underside of the shoulder straps' end tab, (on the other side to the 'Hermés Made in France' embossing.) Shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, to the naked eye they are barely there.
