This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Trouville Top Handle Bag in Multicolore Noir with Calfskin Vachette Trims and Golden Brass Hardware. 

Born in 2005, this stunning Trouville is in an incredible condition for her age! Inky black canvas, bright, vibrant motifs and gorgeously honeyed vachette, it's a collectors dream! 

First introduced in Spring 2003 by Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami in collaboration with Marc Jacobs, the traditional monogram toile was playfully revamped resulting in the celebrated Multicolore line. Featuring 33 vibrant colours including hot pink, turquoise, yellow, and kelly green, the collection has been coveted by LV lovers and collectors for over 20 years. Relaunched in 2025, this legendary partnership released the new, highly celebrated capsule collection, proving that Murakami’s joyful universe continues to define the intersection of art and luxury, and that his work with Louis Vuitton remains as influential now as it was on the runway in 2003.

A medium sized boston bag with twin zips and plenty of space for everyday, this piece may be 20 years old but is in an absolutely beautiful condition. The canvas a deep, inky black, the multicolore motifs are bright, precise and without detailed inspection, look immaculate. Only when you're reviewing very closely can you find four, tiny rubs to the print, as shown in close up detail above. Completely unnoticable in use and incredibly minor.

A soft sided silhouette given structure by the vachette calfkin trims and metal clad corners, the studded leather trim to the front pocket displays natural creasing and there are gentle undulations to the form of the canvas, as is part of the design. All photos taken when the bag is empty, it holds is shape well, even under load.

The vachette leather is evenly honeyed throughout with one small scuff to the rolled piping on the LH side and top of the rear handle.

The top handles show general light signs of hand holding and very vague marking but haven't darkened. There is light wear to the 'red', (inking edge sealant) around the leather loops that house the top handles metal attachments.

The metal clad corners display hairline scratches and some minor scuffing to their apex. The embossed zip pulls similarly display some friction dulling, minor tarnish to the inner connecter rings and there are a few slightly darkened zip teeth to the lower RH side.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, soft, grey microfibre with a slip pocket and phone pocket.
