Iconic in its simplicity and crafted from a soft, supple and deeply pebbled hide, this medium sized Evelyne is a casual, go-anywhere day bag.
Curvy yet sleek with a comfy to carry, wide, webbed adjustable strap, it's a design that moulds perfectly to your side in use and a style that will never date.
Light compared to capacity, with a rear slip pocket and tab sealing main compartment, wear on the shoulder or across the body for hands-free ease.
The Evelyne bag was named after Évelyne Bertrand, who was the head of Hermès’s riding department. Designed in 1978 to carry grooming equipment, (the perforated H was designed to enable air to enter the bag to dry the equipment,) it was originally sold in stores alongside other equestrian goods.

Taurillon Clemence Leather
Named in tribute to the daughter of the designer who introduced it into the collections, this leather was developed for luggage and is the ultimate example of a grained leather that has been drummed. This process softens the skin and brings a generous grain to the surface.

Details -
Well shaped, colour consistent, she's gently softened but without any wear to her hide whatsoever. Corners and curves are perfect, stitching is all tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place.
The gentlest of ruffling to the webbed shoulder strap, D rings are excellent and the surface scratches to the end clips are only visible on the closest of inspections. Shown with the zoom in the photo Gallery above, (looking their absolute worst!) they are barely there to the naked eye.
