Saint Laurent YSL Toy Loulou in Y Quilted Matelassé Light Pink Calfskin

 This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Toy Loulou in Y Quilted Matelassé Light Pink Calfskin with Antiqued Silver Hardware.  

 The mini sized, (but not tiny!) LouLou, crafted from a puffy, chevron quilt stitched calfskin, it takes its name from the founder's muse, Loulou de la Falaise. A simple envelope-flap satchel, it's feather light to carry, easy to use and there's space inside for all the essentials.

A pretty, nude-pink shade, (between plaster-pink and powder-pink,) that seems to go with everything.....and transitions from day to night effortlessly.

At first review it looks brand new.

A particularly matte hide with only a gentle lustre, (ideal if you prefer a lower shine finish,) the leather surface has an attractive, striated, crepey texture, (see close ups of either side of the flap,) which forms part of the inherent nature of the piece.

Well shaped, pristine corners and curves, entirely colour consistent and the YSL Cassandre plaque immaculate.

Only on the closest of inspections you can note the inevitable contact scratches to the envelope flaps snap magnet, the lightest contact marks to the sides of the bag where the shoulder strap snap clips rest, a little darkening to the side loops from the D rings and the most miniscule, flex crackles to the sides of the shoulder strap, (almost invisible to the naked eye.)

Natural widerning to the last hole of the shoulder strap where the staff has been previously set.

Lined in clean, black textile with two internal sections zipped pocket and three card slips.

Please note two, small blue-ish dots* to the interior leather trim, just to the RH side of the Saint Laurent Paris embossing, (see location circled.)
