Dior Diorama Medium in Dark Burgundy Grained Calfskin with Antiqued Gold Hardware

This is a 100% authentic Dior Diorama Medium in Dark Burgundy Grained Calfskin with Shiny Antiqued Gold Hardware.

Semi structured yet still pliable with soft side panels and sliding shoulder chain, this elegant, medium sized Diorama flap bag is crafted from a deep aubergine toned, soft and grainy calfskin.

Wear on the shoulder or across the body, it's ideal for everyday to evening occasions. 

Much lovelier in the flesh than the photos makes it appear, it's a bag you can use without worry!

Condition - Well Used

Without inspection under magnification, the exterior of this piece looks to be in an Excellent condition.

Gently softened, it's still well shaped, entirely colour consistent, all stitching tight, all inking, (edge sealant,) in place and without any immediately wear.

The front, burgundy enamel lock plate with cannage engraved, gold plate is bright and shiny and the base plate still retains its original protective film. However, if you remove the film you can note the contact rubs and finish paling beneath, (see close up photos.)

There is minor dulling to the inner curves of the shoudler straps chain links and silvery paling to the two top D rings, from friction contact with the sliding chain. A sit impression to the leather part of the strap, where the bucklet has been set, can be noted.

Only under magnification can you see the colour darkening to three of the base corners, with the rear LH sides surface being rubbed. Clearly shown in the zoomed photos above, to the naked eye they are invisible.

 The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the wear to the interior lining. A pretty, lilac-pink grossgrain, there is glue discolouration to the main compartments LH sides' base seam. Unnoticable unless you pull the fabric apart to view. A couple of dark smudges and a small rub (below the Made in Italy embossing,) there is also fading, discolouration and rubbing around the top aperture of the bag, where the stitches appear slightly fluffy. All completely structurally sound.
