This is a Brand New* 100% authentic Mulberry Large Zipped Bayswater in Oak Oak Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

 

Crafted from a firm and robust GVT hide in a rich, deeply saturated oak shade, it's a slightly deeper, pebblier and more prominent grain than Small Classic Grain and will acquire character with use. 

This is how Mulberry describe their revamped masterpiece. "The Bayswater is our most iconic bag, and its eponymous collection includes new styles inspired by the original. The Zipped Bayswater is the perfect option for those who like a zipped closure. Using the same construction as a Bayswater, this new style plays with the detail – deconstructing the front by removing the flap and using the iconic postman's lock to secure two belted straps. "

Details -

Just stored since purchase, protective film in place on all hardware, the only reason for the *notation is due to the commonly found, light pressure rubs to the hide at the back of the handle bases where they rest against the top aperture. Shown in detail in the Gallery above, these are completely unnoticable in use.

Please note the entirely natural tonal differences in the colouration of the GVT finish. Very similar to the depth of the more recent, Two Tone Oak shade, a slightly darker striation can just about be made out on the front, LH side's vertical strapping, (see last photo in the Gallery above.) This is part of the composition and character of the hide and not a fault or issue.

Self lined in gold toned suede with a leather trimmed slip pocket.
