This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Soft Amberley Satchel in Black Heavy Grain Leather with Pale Golden Brass Hardware.
Denoted by Mulberry to be a Substandard piece, (by the 'O' stamped to the interior,) there is nothing I can detect as to why this should have been!
Born from a modern reinvention of Mulberry's heritage-inspired style, the Amberley Satchel is a curvy, saddle, flap bag that seals with the equestrian inspired, Rider's Lock closure.
This version, (named the 'Soft') is ideal if you love the shape and style of the Amberley, but just not it's firmness!
Crafted from a thick, soft and super supple bovine hide with a tactile, pebbly, matte finish that feels ultra luxurious.....it slouches perfectly at your side when carried.
Complemented by pale, golden brass hardware with a particularly attractive brushed appearance, it's an exceptionally beautiful piece.

Details -
Perfect leather, no wear to the hide, all stitching tight and hardware excellent with only light scratches to the Riders Lock ring and minor contact scratches to the underside of the lockplate, (both barely visible to the naked eye.)
The removable shoulder strap is As New, displaying a very light sit impression across the last hole where the buckle has been set from manufacture.
The reason for the *notation is due to the very common flex cracks to the inking, (edge sealant) at the two sides of the flap where it joins the back. Shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, this is completely unnoticable in use and does not affect the piece in any way.
The interior is self lined in entirely clean, gently ruffled, deep pile suede with side slip pocket.
