This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Cassandre Shoulder Tote in Black Grain De Poudre Calfskin Leather with Antiqued Gold Tone Hardware.
The classic, tri-compartment, 'Grand Shopping Tote' crafted from robust, glossy, chevron quilted, caviar textured calfskin with both shiny and matte antiqued gold hardware.
A self locating, magnetic YSL plaque closure, it's easy to use, elegant, practical and also perfect in the rain as the finish repels water with ease.
Ideal for work, (the semi-structured design is great to protect small tech,) or just an everyday tote that you'll never need to baby.

Details -
A nicely solid construction with just the right amount of 'give' to ensure it's not hard-sided, the form is gently softened but it holds its shape well. Natural creases to the grain-de-poudre hide throughout, as is part of the make-up of the design, (not quilt deflation.)
Colour consistent, without any immediately visible wear.....without very close review it appears in an Excellent condition throughout with just two, very small irregularities to the hide on the lower front of the bag. Only viewable if you angle the bag, (see locations circled in red and shown with the zoom.)
The shiny gold YSL plaque and chain parts of the shoulder straps are excellent with only the lightest surface scratches, (not visible to the naked eye.) The base plate of the popper displays surface contact scratches and silvery paling, (the magnet hold firmly) and there are surface scratches and minor paling to the finish on the base feet from being placed down. The embossed eyelets have a purposefully matte appearance and are all excellent.
Stitching all strong, inking, (edge sealant) unworn and the interior is lined in clean, black grossgrain with central zipped section and side zipped pocket.
The reason for the Condition Rating is due to the scuffs to the piping trim around the base corner curves. All locations circled and shown in close up detail they look so much worse in the photos than to the naked eye.
