Sartorially smart, this sizable, Chiltern Buckle Satchel is the Big Daddy of the Chiltern family.

A seriously substantial piece of luggage, it's crafted from a very thick, super-robust, pebbly hide and fully lined in a luxurious, deep nap suede.

Boasting a significant capacity, there's enough room for a weekend away, (or more if you pack light,) with a handy front slip pocket and rear zipped section.

Carry by hand or on the shoulder....... just note this is ALOT of Mulberry, weighing in at over 2.3kg when empty, so make sure you've the strength to carry it!

Details -

A thick, dense hide and soft sided design that will naturally collapse under its own weight when empty, (see photos above,) it's gently softened however there's no immediately visible wear. Just slight smoothing to the base corners and a teeny, dot scratch to the front, upper LH side, (location circled and shown with the zoom.)

Colour consistent with a beautifully deep but even grain, stitching is all tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place with miniscule flex crackles to the two top aperture sides.

The top handle is firm and well shaped and the shoulder strap similarly excellent with a minor wave across the middle hole where the buckle has been set.

Hardware is excellent throughout and the interior is all fully lined in clean, lightly ruffled, black suede. The two slip pockets display a slight outward bowing to their seams from access and there is some paling to the suede just above the rivets, (much less visible to the naked eye.)

The reason for the Condition Rating and *notation is due to the delamination to the hide, which is very often found on pieces constructed with two dense layers of leather. With use, these layers can separate in small areas and appear as minor undulations to the surface of the hide. Very difficult to identify without knowledge of this occurence and extremely hard to differentiate between normal creasing, it's present on the lower front of the bag, near the corners (easily visible,) and also to the lower, rear, (almost impossible to see.) Delamination doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way, however has been reflected in the price.
