This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Large Lily in Deer Brown Grainy Print Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.
Rare to now find in the largest size, (that Mulberry made back in the day), this fabulous flap bag is crafted from an ultra supple, fantastically robust and utterly gorgeous, calfskin hide in a warm cinnamon-nutmeg shade. Not oak, it's more of a pale goldy, caramel tone that seems to go with everything.
Naturally unstructured, (you'll need to add in a firm felt liner if you prefer the upright look,) there's acres of space inside and the interior is lined in dark chocolate Mulberry Tree jacquard textile with a soft, fine nap suede lined top flap.
The hanging cloche with padlock lies at the side of this design and please note the intertwined chain and leather shoulder strap is a single, fixed drop so can't be doubled or worn cross body.

Details -
Carried only a handful of times since purchase, (19.01.13) and stored carefully, this luscious large Lily is in an incredible condition for her age and without the closest of inspections appears in an Excellent condition throughout.
The leather is pristine. No marks, scuffs, scratches or wear.....just the normal creasiness and smooshy softness that these pieces are born with.
All stitching is tight and inking, (edge sealant) in place with the common flex crackles to join at the back of the flap.
Original protective film remains in place on the underside of the Postmans Lock Plate, the base plate and turnlock are As New. There are numerous hairline scratches to the front Postmans Lock Plate however these are extremely well camouflaged by the polished finish and much less noticable in use.
It's only when reviewing under magnification can you see a chip to the finish on the LH side's D ring and the light contact scratches and age-related tarnish to the hardware of the shoulder chain. Almost invisible to the naked eye.
The interior lining is entirely clean with zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip section. The suede lined flap is As New.
