Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Scribbly Floral Patent Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Scribbly Floral Patent Leather with Shiny, Dark Silver Nickel (Gunmetal,) Hardware.

 A fabulous, abstract array of dark floral roses in a riotus mix of purples, pinks, creams and yellow, creating a head-turning finish.

Liquid gloss, nicely supple patent which is marvelous to keep clean and completely impervious to the rain.....practicality, beauty and a head-turner, all in one!

Details -

An upright silhouette with just a forward lean to the top handles when empty, there's no immediately visible wear whatsoever. Corners and curves are perfect, the leather is super shiny with beautifully vibrant colours and a particularly nicely spaced pattern.

There are few of the very slight surface wrinkles around the top flap area and handles bases, as is common with this design. No splits, cracks or detriment. A small, light, twin scuff to the top of the front handle can be noted only on very close inspection, (camouflaged almost completely by the highly reflective nature of the patent.)

The dark silver hardware is superb, without scratches (original film is still in place on the base plate) and even the base feet are pristine.

Lined in clean, black suede which looks marked in the photos however it's purely the way the nap of the suede sits. (The tissue paper that its been stuffed with in storage has both ruffled and slightly flattened the fibres.)

There is a zipped pocket, two slip pockets and an internal adjustable belt that will vary the aperture of the bag. The LH side slip pocket displays slight stretching to it's aperture so has a very mild outeard curve vs laying completely flush.

The reason for the *notation is due to the a commonly found feature of thie specific leather type. A particulary deep gloss, the lacquer has a very slightly sticky feel to the touch. This is not a fault or deterioration in any way, it's just how many of these pieces were made!

Shoulder straps are fixed with mid point drop of 15cm so please do note this can be quite a snug-fit if carried on the shoulder.
