Hermés Birkin 35 in Bleu Izmir Clemence with Palladium Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Hermés Birkin 35 in Bleu Izmir Clemence Leather with Shiny Silver Palladium Hardware. 

A multi-pocket Felt Liner is also included in the sale.

The classic, medium to large sized Hermés Icon, ideal for work or just a gorgeous, every-day bag when you want to make a statement.

Crafted from a thick, soft and beautifully grained Taurillon Bull Clemence hide, in what is, in my opinion, the most chameleon like shade Hermés has ever produced. Blue in some lights, teal in others it literally changes colour before your eyes!

The most amazing colour....blue with a green undertone that gives this incredible piece it's teal glow. Impossible to capture it's 'accurate' shade, (because it doesn't have just one!), to my eyes the closest representation in the Gallery above is the main photo and the mannequin.

 Details -

Without close inspection this stunning piece appears barely carried. Pefectly shaped, still with the feel of a nearly new piece, all stitching is tight, all edging unworn and the base feet all retain their original, protective plastic.

No wear to the hide whatsoever, with the exception of the scuffing to the front, LH corner curve*. Shown in close up detail above, this is much less noticable to the naked eye.

There are three, dark dots to the hide, present from construction. One is located on the underside of the hanging cloche's LH side. One is located on the front, upper LH side of the flap and one on the front, LH side's handle. These are stray spots of hand-painted edging that the craftsman used in creation of the piece and are completely inconspicuous.

Similarly there are some miniscule, white flecks in the colouration of the hide which again form part of the construction of the bag. Located just under the 'V' points of the four handle bases, one to the rear, LH sides, horizontal strap, (again by its 'V' point,) and a smatter to the front, upper LH side. All so insignificant to be barely there.

The palladium hardware is bright and shiny with only the inevitable surface scratches and minor contact dulling to the two lock plates. 

The interior is pristine, (as the liner always used within.)
