This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Chiltern Buckle Satchel in Oxblood Coloured Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

Named the 'Small', if ever there was a bag that wasn't small, this is it!!

A generously sized, retro-styled satchel bag with a useful, rear zipped pocket, it's a piece that combines curvy and angular perfectly.

A unisex design, crafted in a evenly grained, vegetable tanned hide, (a larger and more pebbly grain than the current, 'Small Classic Grain'....just as firm and robust but with just that little more character.)

An especially attractive, Black Forest shade, the contrast stitching delivers a heritage feel and the real buckle closure seals the deal.

Carry by the attached, 'Mulberry, Made in England' embossed top handle or optional, adjustable shoulder strap, (not ideal for crossbody wear,) it's not lightweight, but such a handsome and substantial piece.

This is how Mulberry describe the Chiltern Satchel - "The buckle has long been a Mulberry signature. The Chiltern Satchel has a retro-inspired and compact shape with a central buckle. The long shoulder strap can be adjusted to wear on the shoulder or across the body, and there is an additional short top handle for multiple ways to carry."

Details -

Just stored since purchase, there is a tiny, dot sized scratch to the inking, (edge sealant) on the rear, upper RH side of the zipped pocket, as shown.

A light impression to the central hole of the front closure strap and one to the middle hole of the shoulder strap, where the buckles have been set.

The interior is self lined in a thick oxblood suede with two suede slip pockets, and a front slip pocket. As is part of the design of the piece, the suede lining of the top flap rests on the two front brass staffs when closed, which result in small sound surface impressions in the nap.

Made in England.
