Mulberry Alexa XL Postman's Lock Travel Bag Holdall in Oak Soft Buffalo Leather

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Alexa XL Postman's Lock Travel Bag Holdall in Oak Soft Buffalo Leather with Antiqued Brass Hardware.

A very handsome and seriously substantial, luggage sized Alexa, (now classed as a Vintage design) crafted from the most beautiful, ultra creasy and gently glossy hide.

A supple, unstructured, yet sturdy construction, soft buffalo leather is relatively light and less dense than many other hides, but it's exceptionally strong.

Boasting a significant capacity, there's enough room to pack for a week away, it really is that BIG!! Literally acres of space inside, its fully lined in chocolate Mulberry Tree jacquard with large zipped section and leather trimmed slip pocket.

Carry by hand or on the shoulder.....the strap drop is sufficient to wear cross body but I doubt you'd want to, due to size.

A stunning finish, the leather is gloriously crinkly, characterful, colour consistent and without any real wear. A few, very light surface scuffs that are all so incredibly well camouflaged and two, barely there pale spots....one to the front upper LH side of the flap and lower middle front, (see all shown with the zoom in the close up photo collage above.)

There are the lightest signs of use to the base corner curve's piping, (not wear) and surface impressions to the middle front and base where it has rested on the shoulder straps clips in storage.

The wide, adjustable shoulder strap with removable comfort pad is without wear, just a gentle sit impression to the first hole where the buckle has been set.

Plait feature top handle is excellent and the stitching all strong and in place throughout.

Inking, (edge sealent) in place with a little lifting to two points on the LH side of the aperture, as shown.

Light friction scratches to the push-through buckle closures and the base feet display scratches to their apex from being placed down.

D rings and snap hooks display only very light contact scratches and there is minor finish loss around the turnlock hole of the Postmans Lock Plate, (with corresponding scratches to the turnlock sides only visible on close inspection.)

Entirely clean interior with large zipped section and leather trimmed slip pocket. The top flap is lined in a dark chocolate, velvet-nap suede.
