Louis Vuitton Bellevue GM Tote in Amarante Monogram Vernis - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Bellevue GM in Amarante Monogram Embossed Vernis with Vachette Calfskin and Golden Brass Hardware.

Crafted from subtly sparkly, deep raisin toned patent leather, this generous, zip top, trapezoid tote is absolutely stunning.

Acres of capacity and nicely secure for life on the go, there's also a D-ring to one side so you can add in a charm should you wish.

Top handles drop is 18.5cm (so a snug fit on the shoulder), but its body-pliable construction makes it both comfy and light, to carry.

LV have recently begun re-introducing vernis, so time to bring back those vintage pieces, I'd say!

Details -

Firm, nicely structured but not hard-sided, it's gloriously glossy, (under artificial light this colourway literally glows with a beautifully rich, berry tone)....a highly reflective finish, almost impossible to justice to on camera as it always looks like its marked and covered in smudges!

Beautiful condition, the vernis is absolutely pristine throughout.

Stiching all tight and hardware is bright and shiny with only very slight friction dulling around the top hole on the zip pull and minor surface scratches (not visible to the naked eye.) Miniscule surface scratches to the LV embossed, rivets and front badge, again so slight to be barely there.

The only reason for the *notation is due to the water spots to the calfskin vachette top handles. Present on the handle bases and straps, this has been reflected in the price.

Lined in entirely clean, damson textile with two slip pockets.

The Date Code stamping is very light (ending in '023') however the front three digits are no longer visible, as is commonly found on pieces of this era.
