This is a 100% authentic Hermés Birkin 30cm in Blue Mykonos Ostrich Leather with Palladium Silver Hardware.

Born in 2014, this beautiful blue-jean toned Birkin has spent most of it's life in a display cabinet. Original protective film remaining in place on lockplates, it's been handled and admired but actually only carried only twice. Sadly, on one of these occasions it has received marking that has been reflected in the price, (please see Condition Details below.)

Condition -  Good Used

 

 Condition Details -

Original protective film retained on lockplates, (the base feet display surface scratches from contact with the display cabinet shelf,) it's perfectly shaped, entirely colour consistent and all stitching is tight. Edging is firmly in place, there's no wear whatsoever and top handles are firm and well shaped. The interior lining is pristine with natural, soft creases to the side panel gussets.

The reason for the Condition Rating is due to the oil marks to the hide, as shown. One to the front, lower LH side, two to the rear, lower RH side and four dark smudges to the top handles, (locations all circled and shown in close up detail.) Both side panels also display oil marks and an all-over smattering of tiny, dark dots. Much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos make these appear, (the hide camouflages them well,) this issue has been reflected in the price.

Please note that the Bababebi Certificate indicates the colour to be Bleu Saphir, however I believe the photos provided at the time (2018), may not have conveyed the colour accurately and this is Hermés Blue Mykonos. The exterior shade is slightly more subdued in comparison to the more azure toned, smooth leather interior, which is often found on this leather type.
