This is a 100% authentic Loewe 'Gate' Top Handle Mini Tote in Caramel & Tan Calfskin with Shiny Gold Hardware.

The ‘Gate’, a Loewe icon since its Spring/Summer 2018 debut, owes its name to the side latched pin and knotted belt feature. A curvy / angular, sculpted design that just gets better season by season, this two-tone, open top, mini-tote rendition redefines timeless functionality.

A fabulously firm, thick, pebbled hide trimmed with smooth cogac calfskin, its strong, solid construction ensures a perfect silhouette when empty, but with just enough 'give' to make it divine to use.

Precision cut leather, hand-painted edges, contrast stitching, luxe suede lining and, of course, the embossed Anagram, (proving signatures don’t need to shout loudly in order to be heard,) its just the right size for all the basics and a bag you'll never need to baby.

Without close inspection this fabulous piece appears in an Excellent condition.

Well shaped, without creasing or immediately visible wear, it's only when you examine the base corners can you note the slightest colouration rubbing to the two rear curves. Surface scuffing to the RH side's one, (as shown in close up detail and with the zoom), this has been reflected in the Condition Rating and price.

Light surface scratches and some minor edge wear to the smooth, cognac trims, all shown in detail in the Gallery above, these are much less visible to the naked eye.

Clean suede interior with two slip pockets, (one prestud sealed), there is contact darkening behind the D rings where the shoulder strap attaches and natural flattening to the pile within the gussets.

The reason for the *notation is due to the blue pen mark to the suede lining on the RH side of the base, as shown.
